Who we are
Contour Consult Limited (Contour) is a Human Resource & Organisational Development Consultancy firm that was registered in Uganda in 2017.
Contour was established after realizing that there is need to create shareholder value through strategic management of people. Contour works with companies/organisations to help them achieve optimum return on human capital and organisation design. This leads to improvement in human resource efficiency and increase in revenues over time.

Currently in Uganda and many other countries in Africa there are so many organisations (companies) or institutions being created with such big dreams and need to make an impact on our continent.
In the business arena, there are more than 400 million companies in Africa with a revenue of over 1 billion US dollars and the market experiences $1.4 trillion US dollars in consumer spending (Acha Leke et al, 2018). This is real opportunity!!!! On the other hand there are many other companies that never make it to their first anniversary due to governance and people management glitches.
As regards to government institutions and development organisations there is need to make impact on society through policy and provision actual practical solutions however the efforts do not yield expected results due to the organizational related issues such as mandates, processes, policies, leadership , strategy formation and execution as well as stakeholder engagement.
Upon the realization that some companies and institutions would desire to succeed and are let down by gaps in relation to people , governance as well as dysfunctional organizational landscapes, Contour Consult SMC Limited (Contour) was created to provide human resource and organizational development solutions to the companies that are being created or existent and as such reverse the situation of failure or inability to deliver on the mandate.
The main thrust at Contour is to focus on creation of value through people as well as organizational landscape such that the companies grow and are viable over long periods of time. We get this done by understanding the business context in which the companies are operating today as well as in future and create solutions to make them succeed in such contexts.
